Phantoms are cake, whether in large groups or solo. Why?
They are weak against Light/Holy Damage, just like undead (note that Golems do not have that weakness)
Bring a wand that does Light damage. Even if you don't meet the requirements, you will do 6-12 damage per attack. If you do meet the requirements (W/Mo build, for instance), you will do about 20-40 damage per attack.
Also, they will not blind you if you use a wand, because the AI considers you a caster when you equip a caster weapon.
My W/Mo build (still a work in progress, sadly, else I'd post it) uses Flail, and I can wand Phantoms to death in seconds.

kvndoom : Wow, I was not aware that they didn't blind you if you wand, great idea! So if you want to speed killing them just wand + ripostes.
yo home boi : You pull bosses (or normal monsters) off of groups by shooting them with a bow, and running, when hey start running back, shoot one again. If you piss one off enough it will break from the group, or be far enough away that you can kill it before everything comes back.

cash wise perdition is a decent place to go in my experience. Not much keepable but a decent amount of merch bait. If you can get a build that goes fast enough it's very well worth it (this one looks to slow for me) and ranks in my top 4 places to farm (gold)

netniwk : Wand untill full adrenaline, switch to sword, riposte, switch to wand, repeat.
DeviantTeknique : The build is pretty fast when you get good with it, I'm not going to say this is THE most profitable spot, but it's pretty good.

I'll have to give the build a shot on my war...I haven't done a lot of soloing in PR (I've managed most of the area on my ranger, believe it or not), but I'll have a look around.
Edit- They also don't consider you a caster if you have a sword...you won't get CGd or Dazed in FoW as often. Oh..and edit the screenshot please, it stretched out the forum so you can't read an entire post without moving the screen around multiple times...just a bit annoying.

Sorry bout that, I cropped and resized it. Duh, not everybody runs 1680x1050, my bad.
Well, i've pretty much finished up making a wammo build, and it's apples and oranges. The OP's build is indirect damage, mine is direct damage. Some enemies are easier to kill (Maxine, Ham, Manshredder, Phantoms, Ether Seal), some are harder. Large groups take longer because of no indirect damage skills, but there's a lot less running around and dodging involved, just tank and slash.

15 str, 13 swordsmanship, 10 healing. Sorry if it almost looks like a W/Mo Random Arena grief build, but hey, whatever works. 450 health is plenty for the entire island.
Required:
Dreadnought's or Sentinel's armor, head to toe (Sentinel's from Factions has been broken for 6 months, so get NF Sentinel's if you're going that way)
Healing Prayers based wand that does light damage (you can actually get a 15>50 in Elona, which is hilarious)
I use a 3/1 Vamp sword and a 10% Furious sword, and switch as necessary, no different from OP.
60/3 hexed shield. It's more effective against Golems than you realize.
30 always/ -2 stance shield for everything besides Golems.
longbow or flatbow for pulling, of course.
As far as strategy goes, it should be fairly straightforward on most counts. Once you learn how the enemies behave and learn how to manage your energy, it's insanely easy.

Harn Coldstone is a really easy kill, only uses one skill that hurts, and attacks with a sword so you can use ripostes

Interesting.
I just got through trying this build on my War.
Two golds, 3 purples, 5.6k total loot.
However, it took FOREVER to complete, and although I didn't time it it took atleast an hour.
And by the way, you can get Magmaas shields on Perdition Rock, I did in a chest a while back.

This is good stuff. I went farming for about 3 hours and got nearly 20k worth of loot and dropped gold coins. Those patrolling mobs are very nasty, I don't watch the aggro and next thing I know I'm dead. It's hard to run away with dolyak signet on you.
It's fun to farm like this. Beats FoW farming (1 hour of getting a team, 1 hour of farming which gives you 1k if you didn't get a shard, team falls apart after doing forge, bla bla).
So anyway, the farming is relatively easy, but!!! I keep having problems with Flesh Golems. In the youtube vids (nice videos btw) there are 3 Golems... but when there's 4, one of the Golems leaves the group to recover or something. Also, spreading damage around is hard.... I use glad's defense at the start, but some flesh golems are still at 70% of health, while others are at almost 30% health.

Yes, when you aggro more than 3 one will usually leave the group. Just kill the 3 on you, then work on that one. The best way to do this is to get it to just above the health they heal at, then spike it down by timing Glad's, both Ripostes, and Blow to hit all at the same time.
The health discrepancy is due to ripostes and your normal attack, and is easy to fix. If one is at a much larger amount of health simply time your ripostes to hit it, or use normal attacks + Blow to get it's health down. I use this method untill they are all down to about 1/8th HP then kill them all at the same time.

What do you mean that Sentinels from Factions is broken. Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere ad nauseum but I have just gotten back to the game after months off of it and bought Canthan Sentinels - How is it broken ?????
thanks in advance
